As they hang on the wall,
Aging in time
Olde frames, short and tall.

Time has so aged them
As they hang in their place,
And in one's perusal
The past can embrace.

How haunting… how sweet
A memory can be,
This look into the past
The soul here… can see.

Photographs of days gone by,
A window seen In the days of yore
As life had been.

The happy times
The glee and laughs Of old sublimes…
I thank my God
For photographs.
