Roz has been taking photos for most of herlife, photos that usually made there way to the family album. Last year when she retired she got a digital camera and after taking classes became interested in this medium and in the technology that supports digital photography. She started to look at photography as not only a way of preserving memories but as an art expression.

Though born in Romania , Adrian Avasilichioaei has lived in western Canada ,
Vancouver – Burnaby since 1987. He moved with his family to the scenic Westwood Plateau of Coquitlam in 1997. Most weekends he can be found hiking and fishing, placing him in some of the most beautiful natural environments Coquitlam River has to offer. By bringing his camera,
he takes you along, and shares his discoveries.

Maria Janicki lived in Quebec and Ontario before graduate studies at Simon Fraser led her to British Columbia . She has loved taking photos since she was a child, and is most inspired by the beauty of nature. Her work has appeared in several of the Faculty & Student exhibits at the SFU gallery and most recently, in two photography exhibits at the Port Moody Library; "Elements 3" in 2007 and "Urban Nature" in 2008. Maria resides in Port Moody and teaches Psychology at Douglas College .

Carolyn has been a photographer/ educator all her life, Carolyn does commercial work as well as her own artist photography she has had various solo shows participated in many group shows.

join Digital Photography instructor Carolyn Sullivan in showcasing some of their favorite photographs. This is the group's second show, following their courses Photographic Art –Elements, and Photographic Principles at the POMO Art Centre.
All the adult students come from diverse backgrounds and occupations, but have one thing in common: Passion for the Photographic Image.
Creative inspiration for photography comes with the achievement of found elements within the photos, carefully arranged by applying the principles of art.
